We’re returning in Spring 2027!
Who is camp for?
This retreat is anyone and everyone 21 years old and up! We’re a co-ed camp, focused on creating a welcoming and inclusive space for adults who are looking for a chance to rest and recharge while embracing the nostalgia of summer camp.
What is Fallow and Folk?
Fallow & Folk is a 4-night, 5-day adult summer camp style retreat set on the Hood Canal in a historic Girl Scout camp. We have arts and crafts activities, a book-mobile on site, hikes throughout the Olympic Rainforest, and all of it is at your own pace. Enjoy the weekend and fill your schedule up as much (or as little) as you want to go home rested and restored.
When and where is camp?

All meals are prepared with locally sourced ingredients by a local renowned chef, beginning with Wednesday’s welcome dinner through Sunday’s farewell lunch.
The opportunity to go on multiple hikes around the 500 acre property, guided by a local hiking celebrity.
Nostalgic summer camp activities- including kayaking in the camp’s private lake and arts and crafts like sun catchers and cyanotype bandanas.
Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll be welcomed into a creative, supportive community.

Fallow has two meanings, both felt incredibly fitting for this camp.
1) It refers to a farming practice. When the land has been used too much and needs to be left alone to rest and come back.
2) The fallow deer are native to Europe and absolutely beautiful. They also have made a home on Spieden Island here in the PNW. They used their environment to grow and flourish.
